Akiko Kitamura (born November 23, 1988 in Kyoto, Japan) is a Japanese Figure skater. She is the 2006 Japanese junior national bronze medalist.
Kitamura competed for four seasons on the Junior Grand Prix circuit, qualifying twice for the Junior Grand Prix Final. She placed 14th at the 2005 World Junior Figure Skating Championships and ninth at the 2006 Four Continents Championships.[1]
She suffered a foot injury which limited her competitions during the 2006-2007 season. [2]
